Originally when I was checking it out I was thinking it was a bit pricey but the last cheap chain I bought looked great until I ran it through the jewelry cleaning machine and found out that it wasn't as advertised, the silver came off and it was some copper looking metal. So I figured that I would try this one and I figured that if there was anything and I mean anything at all that I didn't like I would immediately send it back. All I can say is "Wow, what a great looking chain", I'm so happy that I rolled the dice and bought this one. This will be a chain that I wear forever. I've literally had it for 2 days and have already gotten a half dozen complements on it. I ran it through the cleaner a few times just in case ,lol, and all is well. I'm very happy with the purchase, the price is fine for a chain of this quality and I look forward to many years of compliments...lol I would highly recommend this chain to anybody looking for one, heck or not...If your on the fence with this one, I would buy it, I think you'll be very happy that you did. In the worse case scenario send it back, but I think once you see it you'll be adding it to your collection.I will be posting an update in a couple of months due to a couple of reviews stating that it tarnishes quickly.UPDATE: It's been 6 weeks and no tarnishing any worse than any of my other silver pieces. Still get compliments on a regular basis. One of the best investments in jewelry ever! I'll be wearing this forever.Thanks so much.first I must say the Amazon driver lied. he/she did not hand it to a resident, it was sitting on the porch and not in the place my delivery instructions say. of course he/she did not take a pic of it, like they normally do.this chain is well made and smooth. my husband's birthday is coming up and his old, cheap chain is rough and destroying the collars of his t-shirts. I ordered a thicker chain, his old one is 2mm and the bale for his cross pendant looked large enough to fit a bigger chain. the small side of the clasp is too big to go into the bale. he's gonna go to a jeweler to see if they can open the bale so this chain will fit. he was like a little kid (he'll be 63 in 2+ weeks lol) getting 2 gifts today!! he absolutely loves this chain. when I couldn't make it work he was bummed.
