The wine bottle box looks plain but nice. The inside insert is a thin, rough plastic/foam type material, it's ok but not a luxury type insert. I'll have to glue it in place so it doesn't fall out (and so my GF can't take it out and see how cheap the material is). The box should hold most wine bottles but it's a little too small for some white wine bottles that are fatter at the bottom. I think this box is designed more for red wine bottles, which are more narrow and straight sided. I'll keep it but I'm thinking of buying a much nicer wine bottle box at Total Wine & More, for about the same price. It's for my girlfriend's birthday, it's got to look expensive even if it's not.
